This Tuesday afternoon, it was a little early that Santa Claus went to the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges children’s day hospital, located on rue de l’Orient, in order to leave many gifts there.
The toys, board games, stuffed animals, books, puzzles and other scooters were donated to the health establishment thanks to a collection organized at the beginning of the month by TransDev, the delegatee of the public transport network of the Sylvia intermunicipality. The collection took place the week of December 2, at the markets of Corcieux and Saint-Dié-des-Vosges as well as at the Sylvia bus depot, located rue Sébastien-Lehr.
For this gift giving, the second organized locally by TransDev after that last winter for the benefit of Secours Populaire, the Santa Claus of the day was notably accompanied by Eric Marani, TransDev director for the Sylvia network, and the president of the Community of Agglomeration Claude George. The partnership between TransDev and the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges children’s day hospital is recent, more precisely since the start of the school year in September with the organization of a collection of school supplies.
Attached to the Ravenel Hospital Center, the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges children’s day hospital welcomes children, aged 4 to 12, suffering from pervasive developmental disorders, developmental delays, behavioral disorders or of autism spectrum disorders. A multidisciplinary team of around ten professionals works within the Déodatien health establishment.
