Loïs Berrehar winner of the 3rd stage

At 4:07:24, Loïs Berrrehar (Skipper Macif 2022) won the final course of the 55e edition of the Solitaire du Figaro.

A 710-mile journey between Royan and La Turballe, via two English marks, which he covered in 3 days 14 hours 7′ 24” at an average speed of 8.12 knots. For his 6th participation in the premier solo race, the Morbihan native thus offered his 2nd stage after the one gleaned in Gijón. A grand finale for his last year on the Figaro Beneteau circuit but which will not offer him the final jackpot. The Irishman Tom Dolan (Smurfit Kappa-Kingspan) having a sufficient lead in the general classification after two stages. Basile Bourgnon (Edenred) followed in the footsteps of Loïs Berrehar with 5’55” of expenses. Gaston Morvan (Région Bretagne-CMB Performance) completed the podium of the 3e stage with less than 50′ delay. It’s one of the rare Figaro stages that I do where we don’t stop and where we can use speed and strategy all the way. I’m so happy to win it, directed by Loïs Berrehar. And Basile was great too. I’m so happy to share that with him. He deserved to win it. It was super close. We were laughing about it yesterday on the VHF. We fought until the end, honestly, it’s great! It’s an accomplishment, a lot of time, a lot of determination for moments that are rare. I was determined to win one this year, I won two. I don’t know what it will mean for the general classification but I did the job. It was nice, we saw the guys who were in control and they were guys from Port-la-Forêt so it’s cool. I fought hard on the three stages, I won’t have any regrets.. »
