The American giant had planned a price increase in the United States for today, but France is also affected.
We were able to see the beginnings of Canal+ yesterday, but it is now widespread: the prices of Disney+ were revised upwards in France. This increase only concerns the Standard and Premium offers, the Standard plan with advertising remains at €5.99/month.
Here are the new prices indicated by Disney+ on its site:
- Disney+ Standard : 9.99 euros per month or 99.90 euros per year (8.99 euros per month or 89.90 per year previously), i.e. an additional euro
- Disney+ Premium : 13.99 euros per month or 139.90 euros per year (11.99 euros per month or 119.90 euros per year previously), or two additional euros
An increase without additional enrichment, the formulas remain the same whatever happens. Please note that for the moment, this increase is not indicated on the Freebox subscriber area when you try to subscribe to the option. Disney+ appears to be looking for revenue, having recently launched an account sharing block to push non-paying users to checkout.
