Lieutenant Samuel Blachon takes the lead of the motorized platoon

Coming from a family of three children, he is the only heir to this family tradition of gendarmerie bikers. Henri, his grandfather, was stationed in the mixed brigade of Bessèges (30), his father Claude finished in the motorcycle brigade of Alès while his uncle was in an equivalent unit in . “Today, the perfect alignment of the planets fills me. I am joining the command of a unit in sunny Languedoc, in my specialty as a motorcyclist and in a territory that is not foreign to me after my three years in Lodève. The pleasure of working in a region where many come on vacation”summarizes the officer, originally from Gard.

Samuel Blachon is also a sportsman, a triathlon specialist within the army, he finished the 26 km Salagou trail last weekend in 2 hours 38 minutes.
