In the casting, there are 15 of them hoping to see the adventure through to the end and thus succeed Pierre Garnier, winner of the previous edition. From the first prime, some stood out. This is the case of Ebony, whose father is a famous singer, or even Paul. Indeed, the latter displays a look that is daring to say the least! Portrait of this young man who already has everything of a star!
His name is Paul, he is 23 years old and lives in Vannes, Brittany. On a daily basis, he takes theater classes and has only one dream in mind: “In life, I want to be an artist.“And the least we can say is that he already has experience. Just like Masseo, Paul already knows the stage:”I have the opportunity to do small concerts around Vannes, Brittany. My artistic universe is very provocative. When I’m on stage, it’s very lively. The loves of my life are Elton John, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury… They make me the artist I am today, who dares to put his personality forward.“
Paul (Star Academy 2024): Glittery look and assertive personality
The affirmation of this personality that it evokes also involves an appearance that is, to say the least, original. “My look is very glittery, feathered, colorful and very vintage. I want to dress like that because I feel different, I don’t want to condition myself to something that I don’t like“, explains the candidate who called his partner from the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. And continues: “I like singing because it’s a way of expressing what I have inside. What I can’t say easily, I put in my songs and I shout it, I sing it, I scream it.“
Before Star Academy, Paul already seen in another show far from music
This path was not always obvious to Paul. Indeed, many years ago, he was seen in a completely different show, namely Top Chef objective. “I started with culinary training, I stayed in the kitchen for six years. And after Covid, I completely reoriented myselfhe explains. I no longer felt in agreement with myself, I needed something else, to identify with what I really was deep down. I have been in environments where I have been restricted a lot. I needed glitter, feathers, color, explosion.” This is how he found himself in the casting of the Star Academy ! “It represents the realization of a dream and a way to access my passion, music. I want to be a rock star, I say it loud and clear!“, he concludes.
