Floods in Cevennes rivers continue to spread downstream. THE Gardon, Chassezac, Luech, Cèze, Vidourle, Tarn, Ardèche and Hérault are in flood, among others, as well as all their tributaries. Very many ford crossings and submersible bridges are closed and impassable (SEE HERE). Precipitation will increase again in the evening and next night. The Cévennes episode will continue all day this Thursday October 17. Therefore, caution will be required at least until the night from Thursday to Friday near rivers. Weather update at 10:00 a.m.

Unsurprisingly, the rain accumulations are already significant this Wednesday morning. They reach the 150 to 200 mm in the Cévennesparticularly in the sector of Aigoual. In the plains, a rainstorm dumped up to 50 mm. As a result, the Cévennes watercourses in particular Hérault and the Let’s keep have already reacted.
