Germany: Bridge collapses in Dresden without causing injuries
A bridge partially collapsed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, September 11, in Dresden, eastern Germany, without causing any casualties. A section of about 100 meters of the Carola Bridge, which connects Dresden’s historic old town to other parts of the city, plunged into the Elbe for reasons that are still unknown.
