The investigation is progressing after the murder of Abass D., aged only 16, killed with a knife during a brawl very close to the Rodin high school, on December 17, 2024.
As a reminder, he had received a stab wound to the left side, but also several blows to the head. His assailant then threw a knife with a green handle and an 18 cm blade into the school courtyard before fleeing with the seven other individuals.
Stéphane S., a high school student in his final year, was arrested at the time of the events, then imprisoned for murder, indicates The Parisian.
According to our colleagues, another teenager, aged 16 and attending the same high school, was in turn incarcerated as requested by the prosecution. Without a record and described as a good student, he was indicted for murder. He was allegedly carrying the knife at the time of the murder.
Five other suspects arrested
Five other suspects, who were part of the victim's group, were arrested this Friday, December 20. They were indicted for “participation in a group formed with a view to preparing violence against people”.
A march will take place this Sunday, December 29 from rue de Verdun, in Ivry (Val-de-Marne), to denounce the deadly violence affecting families.
