Six years after the last special celebrity edition, the show The Island returns to M6. From January 7, 2025, 10 personalities will begin an adventure that they will remember for the rest of their lives. It is on Ko Tarutao, an island off the coast of Malaysia, that Nathalie Marquay, Delphine Wespiser, Julien Cohen, the model Terence Telle, the influencer Daniela Capone, the footballer Sidney Govou, the sports journalist Carine Galli, the champion of the world Pierre-Ambroise Bosse, seen in The apprentice championsthe ex-candidate of Koh LantaLucie Bertaud and the actor Patrick Puydebat, will have to survive. Their goal? Advance through the middle of the jungle to follow a route that will take them to the exfiltration point, on the beach.

The Island 2024: Loury Lag has been a survival expert for over 15 years

To help them, everyone will receive brief survival training, led by Loury Lag. The latter is the new presenter of The Island and will follow the adventures of the participants. Mike Horn's successor will comment on the progress of the castaways in each episode and give advice and approaches to viewers. For more than 15 years, Loury Lag has been exploring the planet, while setting itself new challenges. He has already crossed 45 countries and faced polar bears at the North Pole or scorpions in the desert.

Loury Lag dad, he shares his craziest challenges with his two daughters

At 37, the adventurer is the happy father of two daughters: Pita, 9 years old, and Elie, 7 years old. Since the death of his father a few months ago, Loury Lag wants to spend more time with his family. This is why together they decided to walk in the heart of the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world, located in Bolivia at more than 3800 meters above sea level. Loury Lag is also the co-creator of the Icarus Project expedition, which aims to climb to the top of the 7 highest peaks on each continent, without using motorized transport. A strong temperament that will be discovered every Tuesday evening on M6!
