Death of Liam Payne: the main suspects refuse to talk, do they have things to hide?

Liam Payne, who died last October, leaves behind many questions that the investigation into his death is trying to answer. As for the main suspects questioned on December 17, they refused to cooperate with the judge.

On October 16, One Direction fans learned with heavy hearts that their idol, Liam Payne, had died. The 31-year-old singer died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after falling from the third floor of his hotel. Since then, an investigation has been opened to discover the exact circumstances of his tragic disappearance and his funeral took place (on November 20 in Amersham, northwest of London, after the repatriation of his body). In this case, two suspects were indicted and they are surprising by probably not wishing to collaborate with the authorities.

Braian Nahuel Paiz and Ezequiel David Pereyra, their names, participated in a remote interrogation, reports the Mirror on December 18. During the latter, they refused to testify. The first is an alleged drug dealer, while the second is a former employee of the hotel where Liam Payne died. They preferred “retain their right to remain silent” during the video organized by the judge in charge of the case. The first suspect was a little more talkative last month when he was interviewed by Argentine television. He then assured that he had not “never brought drugs” to the singer “nor accepted money” on his part. For his part, the 21-year-old young man, having worked at the Buenos Aires hotel in the past, is suspected of having delivered drugs to Liam Payne and he has, for the moment, not made any confessions public.

These other people who interest investigators

The interrogations continue with that of Rogelio (known as Roger) Nores, friend of the One Direction star who is accused of having abandoned the latter when he was allegedly drunk before his fall, as well as the head receptionist of the Argentinian hotel, Esteban Grassi, and the head of security, Gilda Martin. Roger Nores, for his part, is of even more interest to investigators since he spent part of the singer’s stay in Argentina with him. The manager claims to have left the latter alone at the hotel less than an hour before his fatal fall. While this could be considered a “abandonment of a person in danger”, he claims not to have found Liam Payne in a vulnerable state when he left, believing that he was fine and that there was nothing to suggest the rest of the story.
