“You are forever in our life Donna”

Jean-Luc Reichmann and his wife Nathalie are in mourning: their dog Donna, who had been ill for several years, has breathed her last. The host of 12 coups de midi announced the bad news to his audience on Twitter and Instagram, via a message filled with pain: “We are immensely sad to inform you that Donna has joined the dog paradise. We had taken her in. She fought wonderfully for these last three years against cancer and never wanted to disappoint us,” he wrote, accompanying his text with souvenir photos and videos of the Labrador. “You are forever in our life Donna,” he concluded.

Jean-Luc Reichmann and his partner Nathalie Lecoultre had taken in Donna in Corsica, in a shelter located in Sarrola-Carcopino. The dog had been found abandoned, tied to a tree with a string around her neck. After her adoption, the animal had become an integral part of their large blended family of 6 children, aged 14 to 34. A real new life! But that’s not all, because Donna also had acting talents and had landed a role in her master’s series: Léo Mattéi, Brigade des mineurs. And even the amputation of her leg following her cancer had not stopped her from filming. “We imagined that it was a police dog who had been hit by a stray bullet on the field,” explained the TF1 presenter to Peuple et animal in June 2022.
