We all remember the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the outcry caused by the Last Supper performed with Barbara Butch. Faced with the scandal, Thomas Jolly subsequently tried as best he could to calm things down by claiming that it was not the Last Supper but the work The feast of the Gods by Jan van Biljert (a poorly chosen reference since this painting is officially and directly inspired by the Last Supper). For her part, Barbara Butch had also shared in her Instagram story (see our slideshow) a publication indicating that it was indeed a direct reference to the Christian Last Supper just after the show. Interviewed by Sam Zirah, Pablo Pillaud Vivien also experienced hell, his companion Germain Louvet more precisely. A video of him during the performance has been circulating on social networks. We see him making a gesture that could have been reminiscent of a throat-slitting mime while he was next to a little girl. Images following which Pablo Pillaud Vivien received tons of messages of indignation and hatred.
