He completed a course accompanied by his guide Mickaël Guidard on a course made up of two 14.2 km laps. An incredible performance for this 29-year-old athlete. An individual amateur rider in DN1, he fell heavily during the Tour du Beaujolais in which he participated. He suffered a head trauma and learned, in 2018, that he suffered from Leber’s optic neuropathy, a rare genetic disease that causes a sudden loss of vision. A handicap that did not, however, prevent him from pursuing a career that he dreamed of and from fulfilling his wildest dreams.
