The Vaudois group Kudelski will remove around forty jobs in Switzerland – RTS.CH
Cybersecurity specialist Kudelski announced that he was going to delete 160 positions, including around forty in Switzerland. These economy measures must make it possible to achieve profitable growth more quickly, the Vaudoise company justified Tuesday evening.
Following the disinvestment of its Skidata activity, the organization of the company must be “simplified”, with an emphasis on technologies for digital security, said Kudelski in a press release.
The economy measures decided by the specialist in content encryption and cybersecurity must also provide a new basis for the Nagravision subsidiary with a view to expanding on the video market, adds the group based in Cheseaux- Sur-Lausanne (VD).
Between 40 and 45 bifted jobs
These cuts will lead to the abolition in Switzerland of 40 to 45 full-time equivalent positions (EPT), both in the divisions and in the support functions.
“These measures will allow us to respond more quickly to the evolution of market needs and to more effectively provide advanced security solutions to our global customers,” argued Morten Solbakken, Director of Operations (COO), quoted in the press release .
The implementation of the restructuring plan should be completed by the end of the first half of 2025.
