First day of competition and first medal in the Swiss camp at the junior world championships and under 23 years of Nordic skiing. Isai Näff took third place in the classic sprint, after having already finished fourth in qualifying. Nothing to do, however, in front of the Intouchable Norwegians Filip Skari (the son of the legend Bente Skari) and Lars Heggen.

Already second in the classic 10 km at the World Juniors a year ago, the 19 -year -old Grison confirms that he is the great hope of Swiss cross -country skiing. His brother Noe is part of the Swiss selection which will compete in the elite world championships in less than a month in Trondheim.

Nolan Gertsch, for his part, took an honorable 19th place, while Maurin Jonas Egger finished 23rd, just ahead of Jannik Joos (25th).
