Quebecer Charlotte Cardin had another successful year and her accomplishments were recognized by Billboard Canada, which awarded her the title of woman of the year.
She thus became the first Canadian to receive this distinction, awarded in the past to Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Madonna, Billie Eilish, SZA and Karol G.
In 2024, Charlotte Cardin toured the world thanks to her album 99 Nightshis second opus, released the previous year. Well received by fans and critics alike, the project earned him the Juno Award for Album of the Year and is on the short list for the prestigious Polaris Prize, which will be awarded on September 17.

She has since released two EPs, A week in Paris et A Week in Nashvillesymbols of his adventures around the globe.
During the year, she has performed her catchy pop in Manchester, Berlin, Los Angeles and Brussels, among others. She will conclude her tour with visits to Egypt, Turkey and France.
Among her other feats in recent months, she has also performed the Canadian national anthem at the NBA All-Star Game and performed in front of US President Joe Biden.
The Montreal singer will be honored by Billboard Canada during the Women in Music evening, on October 7 at the DPRTMNT in Toronto.
