The weekend will end on a fairly gray note with the risk of thunderstorms and showers for all of Quebec. True to form, the humidity will remain there with a very high humidity factor for several sectors.
After a hectic week, Quebecers will fortunately not have to expect weather as violent as last Thursday.
As far as Montrealers are concerned, the risk of thunderstorms will be more in the morning, with a 60% chance of precipitation. The Humidex factor will increase the temperature by up to 34 degrees, according to Environment Canada predictions.
In the Laurentians, thunderstorms may show up more in the afternoon, with a lower percentage of showers (40%). The weather will be cooler with around 25°C with the Humidex factor.
The Outaouais will be the region most affected by the rains, to the point where a rain warning has been issued by Environment Canada. The showers will be more in the morning, with a Humidex factor even higher than the metropolis with a temperature of 35 degrees.
The Capitale-Nationale region will receive more showers around midday, with a temperature close to the 30 degrees felt with the Humidex.
The inhabitants of Abitibi-Témiscamingue and L’Estrie will have a 40% risk of rain in the morning, with a wet temperature that exceeds 30 degrees.
The rain will arrive later, in the early evening, for Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Their neighbors to the north should expect rain, drizzle and colder weather that will drop to below 20 degrees, especially for the Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles sectors.
Baie-James is still the victim of forest fires. A poor air quality warning is in progress by Environment Canada.
