About fifteen candidates aged 18 to 30, whatever their weight, their size, whether they are married, tattooed or not, hope to cross the rubicond on September 23 in Faramans (Isère). Since 2018, the purpose of this Miss Small Beauty election, which promotes the values of respect, sharing and mutual aid, is intended to prove that so-called small women can be pretty, elegant and dynamic.
“I fight against cyberbullying and school bullying”
Angie Doudies who measures 1m59, tries her luck for the first time. This proud young mother of a little Kenzo (4 years old), works at Alptis Assurances (Lyon 3rd) as a manager. “Last year, I wanted to try my luck but the competition was sold out. I’m going to live a unique adventure,” she confides.
Candidates must meet a small challenge each week that can upset the final ranking, such as drawing a sketch of a dress, making themselves known to the media or finding partners for the raffle. “We have to show who we are through our personality. The prizes will be donated to an association that fights against bullying,” stresses Angie, who has had a complicated past: “I didn’t have an easy childhood. I lost my father at a very young age and was bullied. This is why I fight against cyberbullying and school bullying. »
Holder of a CAP, the young woman from Bourg-en-Bresse attended a police school and worked as an assistant police officer in 2021 before moving with her son and his companion to Lyon 9e on the Île Barbe plateau, in September 2022.

With the theme “Winter Wonder”, the candidates will have to parade with five different outfits: a white dress, a themed dress, a city dress, shorts and T-shirt and an evening dress. They will have three repetitions. The criteria yield a certain number of points: smile, self-control, elocution, personality, motivation, creativity, originality. The prizes relate to general culture, sympathy, the public prize.
