Gowago.ch goes viral thanks to an AI post about personified car brands
The start-up reaches 3 Mio Views, 20,000 likes on LinkedIn in 24 hours
ZURICH, 07.06.2023 – The Zurich fintech
gowago.ch
goes viral internationally thanks to an AI post featuring Switzerland’s most popular car brands as animals. Published on 06.06.2023, the LinkedIn post now has 3 million views, more than 20,000 likes, more than 1,000 comments and more than 1,000 shares (as of 16:00, 07.06.2023). The post was created using the artificial intelligences of ChatGPT and Midjourney.
The Swiss leasing start-up gowago.ch constantly seeks innovation and creativity in the automotive industry, without losing its second degree. As an experiment, she wondered which animals best personified certain car brands. To do this, the fintech has designed a series of portraits using artificial intelligence and posted them on LinkedIn – with great success. Within 24 hours, the post was viewed by over 3 million users and garnered over 20,000 likes. In the comments section, more than 1,000 users discussed the accuracy of, for example, the depiction of VW as a Labrador with a hoodie.
The original idea for this post came from the start-up’s close ties to artificial intelligence technology. Recently, the company launched an internal AI that makes the calculation of the residual value, a key point in leasing, more independent and more transparent. The fully digital platform has an inventory of over 8,000 new and used cars of all makes and models available for leasing (with or without an all-inclusive package). With such a choice, it can even be useful for customers to be able to better identify with a brand on the basis of an animal and thus facilitate their decision.
