The Moroccan aviation sector constitutes a strategic pillar of national economic development. With spectacular growth in passenger traffic, going from 7.7 million in 2005 to 32.5 million in 2024, the kingdom intends to consolidate its position in international air transport through a massive investment of 42 billion dirhams in its airport infrastructure. horizon 2030.

The government strategy aims for a significant transformation of the national airport network. At the same time, a new terminal in Rabat-Salé will emerge, offering a capacity of 4 million passengers.

Marrakech will see its capacity increased to 16 million passengers, while the platforms of Fez, Tangier et Agadir will be the subject of extension and renovation programs. Beyond infrastructure, the Moroccan government intends to strengthen the competitiveness of Royal Air Maroc.
