Created in 2020, this association now has 57 dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to improve the living conditions of people in need.
Free Gironde Solidarity
The free Gironde Solidarité works in close collaboration with local institutions and players, such as the Abbé Pierre Foundation, the Food Bank, the Modern Garage, the City of Bordeaux, the Gironde Department and the Wanted Solidarité network. This collaboration makes it possible to maximize the impact of the actions carried out and to guarantee effective assistance to the beneficiaries.
The association's beneficiaries are 70 % of men living in the street. The remaining 30 % are women, families and precarious people accommodated, including students and retirees. The association operates with 270 beneficiaries per week, providing them with basic necessities and administrative support.
The impact of the actions carried out by the free Gironde Solidarité is significant. Distributions of food and hygiene products, emergency shelters and showers considerably improve the living conditions of the beneficiaries. The association also plays a crucial role in raising public awareness of precariousness issues and in citizen engagement.
Food and hygiene aid
The association is carrying out missions for collecting and distributing food and hygiene products. Each week, 270 beneficiaries receive food packages, hygiene products, clothing and camping equipment. Christmas distributions and extreme cold plans are also occasional actions carried out by the association to support the most vulnerable.
Contributions from individuals and partners
60 % of the association's shares are funded by donations in kind or in cash for individuals and by events organized by the association or its partners. The association also benefits from an authorization of the prefecture for food aid and a tax rescript for the issuance of donation certificates.

An evening for a good cause on January 31, 2025
Entrects are evenings organized by the association to have a good time while supporting a noble cause. These events allow you to discover emerging artists who occur voluntarily for the benefit of the association. All evening benefits are donated to finance food aid, basic necessities, camping equipment and emergency accommodation.
