Three times more intentional homicides linked to drug trafficking were committed in Seine-Saint-Denis in 2024 compared to the previous year, according to the Bobigny public prosecutor's office, whose prosecutor deplored, Friday January 24, a “violence with uninhibited use of extremely dangerous weapons”.
“Trafficking, primarily in narcotics, the underground economy and dirty money structure the territory, ruin the republican pact and put the department in mourning”he emphasized during a speech in court. In this Ile-de-France department, fifteen people were victims of narchomicide in 2024, assured Eric Mathais during the solemn back-to-school hearing in the presence of the Minister of Justice Gérald Darmanin.
