The martyrdom of Amandine, died of hunger at 13 in Hérault: perpetuity for the mother, 20 years for her stepfather

Sandrine Pissarra, her mother, accused of acts of torture and barbarism who caused death was sentenced to life imprisonment, accompanied by a 20 -year security sentence. Advocate General Jean-Marie Beney had requested life imprisonment in the morning, accompanied by 20 years of security against Sandrine Pissarra, and 18 years of criminal imprisonment against Jean-Michel Cros.

Amandine's mother, who had denied all responsibility throughout the investigation, was finally confessing on the second day of the trial, later explaining that she was herself a victim of serious maternal violence in her childhood in Portugal.

The two accused have ten days to appeal.
