an analysis of the weak points of insulation… and prevention

Saturday January 18, at Roquefort town hall, around ten people shared the housing breakfast offered by the Community of Communes of Landes d'Armagnac (CCLA) as part of the current OPAH.

Between croissants and chocolatines, Ainoha Gomez, heritage project manager and Small Towns of Tomorrow (PVD) referent at the CCLA, presented a slideshow showing part of the inventory carried out with the help of the 27 mayors of Landes d'Armagnac. Along the way and with Catherine Berchoux, ex-PVD host, she commented on the potential that buildings today without affectation can offer.

Aid available

Eco-energy and energy renovation were then at the heart of the very educational conference given by Julien Salha, thermal engineer at Soliha, and Benoit Gonzalo, research manager (1). The importance of insulation and the many types of insulation, the different heating methods, sealing and ventilation, hot water production: valuable information following the thermographic walk led by the thermal engineer which showed, thanks to its thermal camera, the weak points in terms of insulation during a walk in old Roquefort, in the heart of the OPAH perimeter. He also warned about certain direct sellers who use this tool in a less disinterested way…

“Whatever the situation, there is always a system” the technicians will say for people integrated into the scope of the OPAH, Small Towns of Tomorrow or simply the community territory. This significant aid for overall energy renovation, proportional to the owners' income, can be accompanied by a 0% eco-loan. Hence the importance of meeting these technicians.
