The “Red Bricks” will finally regain color. In Verneuil-sur-Seine (Yvelines), this vast district which owes its name to the original facing of the buildings, is at the dawn of a long passage under the scaffolding. The objective of the project, which must be launched in the coming months, is to carry out complete thermal and sound renovations of these 1,500 homes inherited from the 1960s.
Nearly 6,000 residents live here, in conditions of isolation that have become precarious. This is almost a third of the municipality. This pharaonic achievement will not have been an easy task to program. The file, opened several times in the past, had systematically been closed given its complexity.
