Former British ambassador Thomas Reilly embarks on strategic council in Morocco

Following his appointment, Thomas Reilly will contribute to the development of Agency Group by supporting his European public relations activities, by offering high -level strategic advice alongside euros Agency Africa, as well as bringing his expertise for missions of ‘Due Diligence’ Politique.

“Thomas Reilly comes to bring very precious expertise and an extremely useful network of relationships for Euros teams / Agency Group, in Paris, but also in Brussels and Casablanca. Our relationship with the United Kingdom is also reinforced, London being historically a major relay for the group in terms of partnerships and customers, ”said Mathieu Collet, president of euros/ Agency Group on this occasion.

For his part, Thomas Reilly underlined: “My new experience at euros Agency Group is part of the continuity of its past professional commitments, while strengthening its privileged link with Morocco, a country which is very dear to me, and the ‘Africa. I am enthusiastic about the idea of ​​contributing to the expansion of a booming group, bringing my expertise and my network ”.

Of British and Irish nationalities, Thomas Reilly was ambassador of the United Kingdom to Morocco (2017–2020), strengthening diplomatic and commercial links between the two countries. He was director of government relations at Royal Dutch Shell (2012–2017), sailing in complex global regulatory environments.

Earlier in his career in the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, he held the positions of British ambassador to Morocco and Mauritania (2017–2018), deputy chief of mission at the British Embassy in Egypt (2010–2012) , Deputy chief of the Department of Climate Change and Energy (2007–2009) and deputy chief of the Department of Terrorism (2005–2007).
