Swedish winger Zeidane Inoussa, courted by ASSE for a transfer this winter, acknowledged contacts with the Saint-Etienne club. The 22-year-old strikerauthor of 9 goals and 6 assists this season with Häcken, spoke of the interest shown by the Greens in a recent interview.
A dream of playing in a major championship
Linked to Häcken until 2027, Zeidane Inoussa to admit that “ASSE has taken information” about him. Although flattering, the young player nourishes the ambition to join one of the five major European championships. “Ligue 1 is a good championship, top 5, and my dream is to play there like in the Premier League”he confided. A necessary step according to him to reach the highest levels.
A departure planned for this winter?
Despite his long-term contract with Häcken, Zeidane Inoussa do not rule out a rapid transfer. “At some point, we have to leave. We’ll see if it happens now, this summer or next winter”said the 22-year-old winger. Performing well in the Europa Conference League with 3 goals and 3 assists, the Swedish player seems ready to take a step forward in a tougher championship.
An attractive profile for the Greens
With his profile as a promising and prolific young striker, Zeidane Inoussa would represent a great opportunity for ASSE. His potential and versatility on the wings could make him a reinforcement of choice in the race to maintain. Saint-Etienne decision-makers therefore seem determined to make this winter track a reality.
