OM, Sanctions – Benatia suspended as a precautionary measure by the FFF

Meeting this Thursday morning, the FFF disciplinary committee decided to suspend Mehdi Benatia as a precautionary measure following “his actions” at the end of the 16th final of the Coupe de France between Marseille and Lille, on January 14. According to The Teamthe Director of Football of OM, still under a suspended sentence since his resounding speech after Lyon-OM at the end of September, could see the latter be dismissed. As a reminder, the leader had been suspended six matches, including three firm, by the LFP.

The Team specifies that if the commission takes its time to decide, it is because it considers the subject to be “very serious”. Mehdi Benatia must therefore expect to be sanctioned quite severely next Thursday, or later. Note that LOSC president Olivier Létang is also suspended as a precautionary measure.
