Little queen enthusiasts in the region always impatiently await this traditional hike which combines sport health, well-being and safetyas Xavier Lesage, its president, recalls. On the occasion of this new meeting, the organizers have decided, for the second year in a row, to set up the start village on the Champ de Mars esplanade from Saturday May 31. It is on this day that the first big surprise will be offered: the Fête du Tour!

A way to magnify our departure village as the Grand Départ of the Tour de approachesunderlines Dominique Persyn, general coordinator of the event, without revealing more. Except that the participants of the cyclo will leave the next day, within a few meters, of the place where the professional runners will start next July.

Two difficulties on the 2025 route

The route will respect, as it did a year ago, a certain balance between roads in the North and roads in Pas-de-. We will be on rolling axes for the first thirty kilometers to Bailleul, before a first difficulty, the climb of Mont des Cats, the idea being to stretch the peloton, and then allow the participants to ride more comfortablydevelops Dominique Persyn.

The cyclists will continue on flat ground until Lynde, the last northern town crossed, where the first refueling will take place. Then direction Helfaut, Licques (second refreshment) and Samer (third refreshment). A hilly route, which allows you to discover the wonders and nuggets of the regionrejoices for his part Xavier Lesage.
