Since 2017, the Reading Nights have established themselves as an unmissable event on the French literary scene and big news this year, the godfather is none other than Stéphane Bern. For this 9th edition, the national meeting is given from January 23 to 26. The public is invited to celebrate the pleasure of reading through various activities, both physical and digital. In Meuse, this event is organized around heritage theme and offers a rich and diverse program for young and old.
Activities for all ages in Bar-le-Duc
Between discovery, games and exchanges, the Barrois city actively participates in Reading Nights with several events.
On January 25, from 6 p.m., young readers will be able to discover readings dedicated to young audiences at the community media library, led by high school students from the theater option at the Poincaré high school.
From 8 p.m., the City of Art & History service will offer a quiz on local heritage, while tours of the media library will accompany participants in discovering behind the scenes of this cultural space. These moments of sharing and conviviality allow us to promote the history and heritage of the region.

Reading Nights offer a great opportunity to (re)discover literary culture, as well as the heritage of the Meuse but also of Haute-Marne.
