This event is the result of an unprecedented collaboration between the main Moroccan academic institutions, with the crucial support of the Moroccan Aeronautics Cluster (AMC), the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture ( ICESCO), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Morocco and the United States Embassy in Morocco.
According to Naoufal Souitat, founder of MISI, AMESC 2025 embodies the spirit of cross-border collaboration, essential for the prosperity of the space sector. By bringing together global leaders and experts from Africa and the Middle East, the conference aims to foster partnerships for the advancement of space exploration and innovation.
Mr. Souitat underlines the importance of regional perspectives in the global space dialogue, particularly in terms of the management of land resources and the development of new applications of space technologies.
AMESC aims to be a catalyst for meaningful collaborations, combining international expertise and regional innovation to address global challenges and develop solutions benefiting humanity, both in space and on Earth.
AMESC 2025 has attracted unprecedented commitment from the world’s leading space institutions. Major agencies such as NASA, ESA, the Portuguese and Italian Space Agencies (ASI) will participate alongside emerging regional powers including the Egyptian Space Agency, Azercosmos and the Kenyan Space Agency.
The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) will provide its expertise in international space policy and collaboration.
-The scientific program will be enriched by cutting-edge research presentations from the MILO Institute at Arizona State University and the Abu Dhabi Institute of Technological Innovation.
The participation of the Latin American Space Industry Cluster and the Brazilian Space Agency, as well as delegations from China and South Korea, confirms the central role of the conference in international space cooperation.
Pioneering companies like iSpace will present their latest innovations, creating a space for exchange between government expertise, industrial advances and academic research.
The event will feature former NASA astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger, who will share her unique experience acquired aboard the International Space Station, helping to inspire the next generation of space explorers from Africa and the Middle East.
