The draw for the final phase of the African Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco-2025) will be made next Monday at the Mohammed V National Theater in Rabat, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Thursday, January 23.
The ceremony, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (GMT+1), constitutes a true symbolic starting point for the competition, underlines CAF on its official website, adding that this event will bring together emblematic figures of African football, representatives of the Federations, the media international players, as well as sporting legends, “promising an exceptional atmosphere”.
According to the same source, the draw will see the 24 qualified teams be divided into six groups for the final phase. “CAF promises a unique evening full of emotions, where sport and culture will intertwine to offer a grandiose spectacle”, indicates the governing body of African football, continuing that “this celebration will reflect the singularity of culture Moroccan and the excellence of the organization of this 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations.
