Switzerland is better armed today against epidemics

Five years after the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Switzerland inaugurated a center on Thursday intended to meet the health challenges of tomorrow. “Born from the lessons of the Covid-19 crisis”, the Center for Pathogen Bioinformatics (CPB), placed under the direction of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB), aims to strengthen the genomic surveillance of epidemics, to support research on pathogens, and to inform public policies in this area.
