Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko announces the restructuring of Air Sénégal and AIBD SA

Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko plans an in-depth restructuring of the companies Air Sénégal SA and AIBD SA. He also expressed the need to examine in detail the financial situation of each national company.
During the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday, the head of government announced that he will chair two interministerial meetings in February 2025.
“The Prime Minister dwelled on the financial difficulties of “Air Sénégal SA” and “AIBD SA” and the urgency attached to the overall restructuring of these companies”, we can read in the press release from the Council of Ministers.
In this regard, Ousmane Sonko will chair “two interministerial meetings devoted respectively to the situation of each company, during the second decade of February 2025”, according to the press release.
