twelve major projects in four years

The Neuchâtel Council of State has drawn up a positive assessment of its 2021-2025 legislature. The government has highlighted the completion of twelve large-scale projects to position itself as an ‘innovative and attractive’ canton.

‘Sustainable development in its social, economic and environmental dimensions was the common thread of his four years. We wanted to evolve public policies to meet the needs of today’s citizens and with the responsibility of not harming the future generation,’ Florence Nater, president of the Council of State, declared on Thursday.

The legislative program of the Council of State was structured around 53 strategic objectives with four ambitions (innovation and digitalization, attractiveness, cohesion, institutions and public finances). The government has highlighted the realization of twelve emblematic projects, including Chaux-de-Fonds Swiss Cultural Capital 2027.
