Africa: France pushed out – Sens public

Françafrique seems very far away and French influence on the continent increasingly reduced. Chad, Senegal, Ivory Coast: the list of countries asking French soldiers to leave is growing month after month… Why such disenchantment? What strategic consequences? Are new alliances possible in the pa… Are there non-French-speaking Africans? In any case, this is the direction that Emmanuel Macron would like to take after receiving a state visit in early January from João Lourenço, his Angolan counterpart.
