The veterans of the Pouliguennais Club (FCP) are not happy and are making it known. They complain about the attitude of the municipality of Pouliguen (-Atlantique) towards them concerning their requests for slots to use the football field left unanswered.

An agreement with USBP

Didier Asseray, president of the FCP, puts on the table the agreement that the municipality signed with the Pouliguen Football Club (USBP) installed for several years in the town, which would explain, according to him, “the unfavorable position of the town hall” towards them.

The president adding that the town hall would refuse to communicate this agreement to them.

So many reasons which push Didier Asseray to ask the mayor to contact the Mediator of the Republic.

Many exchanges

Contacted, Norbert Samama, the mayor of Pouliguen, disputes these allegations.

It is incorrect that we did not respond to Mr. Asseray. Our email history shows several dozen exchanges on this subject.

Concerning the granting of slots for the use of training grounds, the mayor explains that the Pouliguen and La Baule football clubs have merged to avoid the dispersion of activities, “under these conditions, it would not be serious to authorize a new club, with the same activity, to use the sports infrastructurewhich would amount to undoing what we implemented several years ago.”

No convention but a general charter

The elected official also explains thatthere is no agreement with USBP.

We have a general charter valid for all associations which specifies that we cannot issue subsidies and technical logistics to two associations having the same activity in the municipality. The USBP is currently the football club using football sports infrastructures.

Explanations already given

This charter reminds Norbert Samama is accessible via the town hall portal and “is in no way retained by our services. Concerning the referral to the Mediator of the Republic, it is up to Mr. Asseray to refer it and not to the municipality. If the latter were to be seized, the same answers would be given to him. »

The mayor of Pouliguen would like to point out that all these explanations have already been communicated several times to the leader of the FCP.

At this stage of relations between the two parties, the FCP is threatening to seize a rights defender.
