We can also read on the facade of the premises: “PS social traitors”words drawn with black spray paint, to the right of the glass door. The departmental councilor of Finistère and vice-president of Métropole, Tristan Foveau reacted on “stunned” to the discovery of damage. He denounces “a new example” of a “political climate” degraded in the department.

An investigation has been opened, under the authority of the public prosecutor's office, announces the Finistère prefecture, to “identify and prosecute the perpetrators of these acts”. Mélanie Thomin, PS deputy for the constituency, confirms, in a press release, that a complaint has been filed. She denounces a “act of cowardice” for a fire which “could have spread and led to the endangerment of many residents of the neighborhood.”

The fire occurred just days after the Socialist Party refused to vote on the motion of censure against the government of François Bayrou. The motion did not gather enough votes from deputies to be adopted in the National Assembly.
