Helena, candidate for the 24th season of the show Koh-Lanta, The Sacred Fire on TF1, revealed on her Instagram account that she had been attacked by men in the street while she was going to a restaurant. On January 18, the Belgian physiotherapist was walking alone in Braine-l’Alleud (Belgium) when she was approached.
“Give me some money”
“I was walking from the parking lot to the restaurant when a man ran and grabbed my arm,” she told her subscribers in a story. The stranger then asked him: “Are you fucking?” » Totally “shocked” and “paratified”, the young woman could not find the words to respond and continued on her way, accelerating. But the individual followed him, continuing to talk to him.
“Why are you afraid? Why are you stressed,” he asked. Then he became more threatening. “Give me some money and I’ll leave you alone.” » Helena then started running to quickly join her friend who was waiting for her in the restaurant. But the story doesn’t end there.
“Loss of confidence”
The man waited for the young woman in front of the establishment, in the company of three other people. “My girlfriend came out and took a photo of them. » The group was not intimidated and did not become afraid. When Helena and her friend left the restaurant “with a lump in their stomach” after the meal, the individuals were waiting “50 meters away”. To leave as quickly as possible, they stopped a car and a driver agreed to take them in order to bring them closer to their vehicle.
-“The story ends well but the emotional shock and loss of confidence are there,” she admitted. On Sunday, she posted a video assuring her followers that she was doing better.
