Saint-Just-Malmont: the breathalyzer turns out to be positive on the 8th breath

Monday evening, around 6 p.m., a motorist's car ended up in a ditch after leaving the road while she was traveling on the Cotonas road, between Saint-Just and Malmont. The 31-year-old driver got out of her Mercedes Class A before the police arrived. She was not injured, but showed signs of intoxication. The soldiers subjected her to the usual screenings. It was only after the 8th time that she managed to blow long enough into the breathalyzer. The latter turned out to be positive, as did the saliva screening which revealed the presence of THC, a molecule contained in cannabis. The thirty-year-old was taken by firefighters to Firminy hospital where a blood test was to confirm her blood alcohol level, necessary to determine the legal consequences.

Saugues: it slides on the ice

Monday, shortly before 7 p.m., a 48-year-old motorist lost control of his Peugeot 207 after driving on a patch of ice. The car ended its race in a field below the RD 335. The alcohol test came back positive. The forty-year-old was forced to follow the gendarmes to the brigade to be subjected to the breathalyzer.

At 75: speeding

A 40-year-old man, living in Hérault, was flashed at 167 km/h (speed assumed, 158 km/h), on a portion limited to 110 of the A 75, in Vieillespesse (Cantal), a few kilometers from Haute-, Friday, shortly before 5 p.m. He was driving under the influence of cocaine. In the same place, late Saturday morning, a 38-year-old man from Esson had several offenses: he was driving at 141 km/h (speed limit, 133 km) with 1.04 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.
