It's a testing day for the drivers who will be on the starting line of the 93rd Monte-Carlo Rally. On Wednesday January 22, they will train in a tune-up session of just over three kilometers.
Like last year, the “Shakedown” will take the route de la garde in Gap, which will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Rabou road will also be closed to traffic during the same times.
Diversions put in place
In addition, the Veynes road will be closed between Gap and Saint-André from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. from the senator's roundabout, as will the RD 446 between Neffes and Pelleautier. The departmental roads RD 47 and RD 246 will be closed or made one-way.
-Several diversions will be put in place for the day, notably via the RD 46 and RD 47, via Neffes or Pelleautier.
The difficulties may be greater for heavy goods vehicles, their circulation and parking will be regulated this Wednesday.
