The motorized two-wheeler market continues its decline in Île-de-France: “In the city, cycling is over”

With a decline in the total number of registrations of 6.3% compared to the previous year (i.e. a volume of some 8,300 fewer sales in one year), the decline in the Ile-de-France market remains below the national average, which was established at -8.7% registrations in 2024. But this slowdown, apparently slightly more moderate than the average, hides enormous disparities depending on the displacements, the engines… and the different geographical areas of the region.
