“It remains a beautiful story for her…” Coralie Paterni is slowly starting to breathe after five days of strong tension. Long moments during which she no longer recognized her 7-year-old daughter. Deprived of her “more than sacred” blanket, Evy, diagnosed as “autistic with intellectual precocity”, no longer had a taste for anything.
“She was no longer smiling. She remained prostrate on the sofa, without eating,” says this mother living in Florange, in Moselle. A few kilometers where it all started, last Thursday. “I was at my fitness club in Yutz when, on leaving, I couldn’t find my car keys,” she rewinds. “However, I was convinced that I had put them in my coat pocket which was in a code locker. »
The vehicle was no longer in the parking lot. “It was panic, especially when I realized that the cuddly toy was on board,” continues the thirty-year-old, who was not able to hide this loss for long. Especially since the precious stuffed toy was accompanied by another, “soft toy friend”, almost as important.
“I tried to give him another one but it was an immediate crisis. She was screaming, hitting the seat of my father's car, refusing everything… It was horrible,” continues Coralie Paterni, who then logically filed a complaint. Then launched a call for help, widely relayed, on social networks. Each time alongside Evy, who absolutely wanted to follow the case closely.
