”The whole family is satisfied with the support of all state services for the success of the event,” the Caliph welcomed during the official ceremony.
”All arrangements were made and no breach was noted during the ziarra”, continued Thierno Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Barro, who did not fail to ”thank the highest authorities of the country”.
A delegation led by governor of the Thiès region, Saer Ndao, accompanied by the prefect of Mbour, Amadou Diop, and several heads of regional and departmental services, represented the government at the official ceremony.

Saer Ndao magnified the “message of peace and stability” that the marabout carries for Senegal.
