one person dies, traffic still disrupted

Traffic on the RER E is a again interrupted. This Monday, January 20, 2025, the SNCF announced that a personal accident had occurred in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis) on the line, causing the death of an individual. The technical teams of the SNCF, the police and unfortunately the funeral directors intervened on the scene after the tragedy. Traffic, for its part, is still disrupted on the RER E as well as on line P.

Traffic interrupted until 8 p.m.

On its X account, the RER E announces that traffic is interrupted until 8 p.m. between Noisy-le-Sec and Chelles-Gournay. “Traffic is disrupted on the rest of the line,” specifies the SNCF.

The Noisy-le-Sec, Bondy, Le Raincy, Gagny, Le Chénay and Chelles-Gournay stations are not most served. On line P, traffic is disrupted in the two senses traffic between Paris and Meaux and Paris and Château-Thierry.

In the meantime, travelers are invited to borrow alternative routesaccessible on the SNCF website.
