Around 300 skaters from the west of France (from the chick category) were present for the second round of the Interzone speed skating, Saturday January 18 and Sunday January 19, in La Chapelle-sur-Erdre (Pays de la Loire). After the first, organized in Saint-Brieuc, on Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, the objective was to qualify for the French Indoor championship. Seven skaters from the Locminé skating club (CPAL) had traveled to participate in the speed tournament on Saturday and in the long-distance races on Sunday.
The results of the weekend
At the end of these two days, a cumulative ranking was made. The results were as follows: Poussine (20 starters): Yuna Nizan, 16th, youngest (20 starters): Léo Paul Dondaine, 19th, Cadette (42 starters): Capucine Oliero, 22nd, Cadet (23 starters): Eythann Ah Dat , 15th, JB Women (34 starters): Jann Boutté, 15th, Lilou Ah Dat, 33rd, JB Men (20 starters): Melvyn Daniel, 13th.
The Locminois club is awaiting, within a few days, the announcement of the qualifiers for the French Indoor championship which will take place at the Kercado hall, in Vannes on February 8 and 9.
