Pays de Savoie – Savings on the rise, loans stable: the key figures from Crédit Mutuel Savoie Mont Blanc

Jean Louis MAITRE, president of the Crédit Mutuel Savoie Mont Blanc Federation, and Estelle Malet, general manager, held a press conference on January 20 to present the results for the year 2024 and the outlook for 2025.

Some notable figures for 2024:

– Customers: 11,140 new customers (+1.3%), bringing the total to 235,259 customers, a net increase of 2,915 compared to 2023.

– Savings: +4.5%, reaching 7.13 billion euros.

– Credits: +0.1%, with a total outstanding amount of 5.78 billion euros. The production of credits amounts to 765 million euros.

Services offered:

– Insurance: 344,073 contracts.

– Home protection: 4,527 subscriptions.

– Telephony: 11% of member customers subscribe to it.

Real estate agency: around 100 sales of new properties via local funds.

For the first time, Crédit Mutuel Savoie Mont Blanc reached the 10% market share milestone in 2024.

Outlook for 2025:

The management team expects a complicated year, marked by an uncertain economic context. However, the start of the year seems favorable, with a resumption of activity and an increase in demand for real estate loans. The federation wishes to continue its diversification strategy.

Business side:

The headquarters, located on Avenue de Genève in , has been under renovation since October 2023. The work should be completed in early 2026.
