“I came back from among the bald”: Edouard Philippe talks about the regrowth of his hair

Almost two years ago, at the beginning of 2023, Edouard Philippe appeared without hair, eyebrows and mustache, in front of our colleagues from Le Parisien. “Here's what's happening: I lost my eyebrows, and I don't think they'll come back. Two years later, the former Prime Minister has since regained part of his hair, and sees this as a renewal. “I experienced having this disease (alopecia) which was neither dangerous, nor contagious, nor painful, but visible. “It changes your appearance, your face, the way you look at yourself and that others have at you. It’s not nothing.” he adds. This hair regrowth would have started last June, without treatment or operation. “It was funny to me. I feel like I'm going through puberty again. And it turns out that the hair that grows back is black. My daughter said to me: It's the return of the panda! And that's it. made me laugh. I sort of came back from the bald guys.”.
