an opposition which approaches disunity for the municipal elections

POLITICS / “Ambitions for ” will have proposed to “bring together on January 23 all citizen, left-wing and environmentalist groups to discuss the future of the City and municipal elections”. All of them, including the list led by Elie Cordier. A request left unanswered

Calls for discussion remained unanswered: the left should therefore leave divided for the 2026 municipal elections in Gap. A disunity which took shape last November: EELV, the Communist Party, the Socialist Party and the opposition groups Gap Otherwise and Territoires Ecologie et Solidarités announced their agreement to lead a common list for the municipal elections, with Élie Cordier at the head of this list called “Union for Gap”. But for their part, La Insoumise and “Ambitions pour Gap” denounced a lack of consultation.

“Union for Gap” plays disunity for “Ambitions for Gap”

Since then, the majority opposition group in Gap has proposed “ bring together on January 23 all citizen, left-wing and environmental groups to discuss the future of the City and municipal elections “. All of them, including the list led by Elie Cordier.

If La France Insoumise and Ensemble accepted the meeting, no answers from Union pour Gap. A silence described as “ lack of desire for a real gathering for the Gapençais and the Gapençaises” by Ambitions for Gap.

Contacted, Elie Cordier believes that his only “ opponent » today is the mayor, Roger Didier, “our list brings together all the left-wing parties except LFI and all the opposition groups to the City, except Ambitions for Gap. It's up to them to make their decision “. Walk together or divided, visibly… the choices are made.
