This is one of the major pieces of information delivered by the mayor of Ploumagoar, Yannick Echevest, Friday January 17, during the greeting ceremony in the village hall.
The speed on the RN12, a major road axis in Côtes-d'Armor, will be definitively limited to 90km/h near the Guingamp agglomeration, over six kilometers, between Saint-Agathon and Plouisy, as it is currently between Plérin and Langueux.
Work on the RN12
“Work will be carried out on and around the RN12. A speed reduction will be implemented when crossing the Guingamp area. The tread of the four lanes will be redone and a merlon, near the Ibis hotel, will be moved. »
These developments pursue several objectives: “It is about reducing nuisance and facilitating maintenance, which is not the case today. »

Through this project, the West Interdepartmental Roads Directorate (Diro) wants to reduce “the risk of accidents, noise, pollution and increase safety”, explains the mayor of Ploumagoar.
The start of work has been set for “the second week of March normally. »
